At Wonderkids and Day Care, we proudly offer swimming lessons for all classes, conducted by fully qualified professionals. Our comprehensive program is designed for kids aged 3-7 and focuses on teaching water adjustment, basic swimming competency, and benchmark skills. The program consists of three stages:

  1. Water Acclimation
  2. Water Movement
  3. Water Stamina

Our swimming pool provides a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and develop essential swimming skills.

Stage 1: Water Acclimation

In this stage, preschoolers become comfortable with underwater exploration and are introduced to basic self-rescue skills, performed with assistance. The following skills are learned and practiced:

  • Bobbing to submerge in water
  • Gliding on their front and back to the wall for 5 feet without assistance
  • Floating on their front and back for 10 seconds with assistance
  • Rolling from back to front and front to back with assistance
  • Jumping, pushing, turning, and grabbing the wall with assistance
  • Swimming, floating, and swimming 10 feet with assistance
  • Exiting the water safely

Stage 2: Water Movement

In this stage, we build on previous skills by learning how to swim to safety from a longer distance. The class introduces rhythmic breathing and integrates arm and leg actions. To progress to this stage, children should demonstrate mastery of all Stage 2 skills.

This stage is suitable for kids who can't yet swim 3-6 meters on their front and back. In this stage, we practice the following skills:

  • Retrieving an object in chest-deep water
  • Swimming on front and back for 2 meters
  • Rolling from back to front and front to back
  • Jumping, pushing, turning, and grabbing (2 meters)
  • Swimming, floating, and swimming (2 meters)
  • Treading water for 30 seconds
  • Exiting the water safely
